Our story so far

Our roots date back to 1993 with an office of two in the Isle of Man. Back then, when we had the Walkman instead of iPods and an encyclopaedia instead of Google, PDMS was very much focused on data and databases.

As technology progressed, we began to specialise more in software development, particularly bespoke software developed to meet a customer’s very specific requirements. And with the growth of the Internet, the systems we developed became web based – both systems for businesses and customer facing websites. Fast forward by a quarter of a century and we now have an evolving portfolio of cloud based software solutions, platforms and services.

Our ethos back in 1993 remains the same today, which is to use our knowledge, skills and capabilities to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients and, in turn, their customers and employees.

This ethos has served us well and has seen the company grow to over 75 people across the Isle of Man, Scotland and England. Our team includes expert analysts, talented developers and organised project managers who ensure that projects get delivered on time. Long term relationships are important to us. We listen to our customers’ needs, problems and expectations and show them what’s possible and how best to achieve it.

Our dedicated SignedUp Skills team

We have a team of talented specialists working on the continuous development of our platform, ensuring SignedUp Skills receives regular updates and the latest features.

Richard Graham

Head of SignedUp

Richard heads up our SignedUp team, which is predominantly focused on helping local economies make their labour markets easier to navigate for their residents. Richard has been leading on this work for a number of years and has built up a considerable understanding of the way labour markets and economies operate and how technology can help them become more effective.

Richard joined the team in 2016 and brought with him valuable experience of working in a leadership role within a leading Scottish start-up.

Outside of work, Richard enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, helping in his local church and reading anything he can get his hands on. Many people don’t know Richard spent five years in the USA on a golf scholarship and daily fights the urge to dust off the clubs again!

Jane Dellar

UK Regional Projects Manager

Jane is our UK Regional Projects Manager and is responsible primarily for growing and enhancing our SignedUp client base. She also represents PDMS at meetings of the All-Party Parliamentary Groups for Digital Skills and Skills & Employment.

Before joining PDMS Jane headed up economic development in Bahrain and in Isle of Man Finance at the Treasury. She is also the former Chief Executive of Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce and worked globally for a leading professional qualification learning provider.

Through Jane’s background working across both local and international groups, Jane has worked closely with PDMS for the last 20 years and combines that experience to understand customers’ needs and the strategic outcomes they are seeking with how our technology solutions can support achieving them.

Jane is clearly multi-talented and has spent the last 12 months refurbishing her house with her own fair hands, she is also a Google Search Wizard and can find (pretty much) anything she wants. To relax, Jane enjoys walking her dogs and pottering in the garden.
