We were thrilled to be shortlisted for an Umbraco Codegarden 2020 Awards in the Best Certified Partner Solution category.
Umbraco is a leading open source Content Management platform which is used by web developers and digital agencies worldwide to deliver websites which not only look good but perform well too. PDMS has been an Umbraco Partner for over 10 years and our web development team hold Umbraco qualifications.
We entered our SignedUp Skills platform, developed using Umbraco, into the Umbraco Codegarden 2020 Awards. Our entry showcased the successful HOP project we have delivered for Hertfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP). The Hertfordshire Opportunities Portal (HOP) helps residents to access all the information they need to make informed decisions on career path options including Further Education, Higher Education, professional qualifications, work experience and job opportunities.
The Umbraco judging panel recognised the integrations featuring real time job, apprenticeship and course data and the flexibility of the platform. Hertfordshire LEP has been able to quickly adapt the portal to help address employability issues arising from COVID19.
Our Umbraco team attended Codegarden in 2019 and inspired by last year’s award winners, we decided to submit an entry for the first time this year. The awards, which are usually held in Denmark, were moved online this year and streamed live on YouTube.
Although we didn’t go on to win the category, we were really pleased and honoured to make the final shortlist of three, especially as the awards attracted more entries than ever from all over the world. Congratulations to the category winners the Netherlands Fire Service!
